Following prices are for the these types of video tapes–
VHS, VHS-C, Analog 8mm, Hi8, Digital 8 Tapes, Mini DV – (Standard Definition), and Mini DVDs to digital conversion.
Please note:
- USB sticks and portable hard drives are not included in the pricing. You can provide your own storage device, or we can supply one for an additional cost.
- 1 DVD copy will be supplied for each video tape we convert.

- Video tapes that are uploaded to our cloud storage will be accessible for up to 90 days. Extending cloud storage beyond 90 days costs an additional $50.00 per 90 days.
Note:
- Please provide a portable hard drive or USB stick; otherwise, there will be an extra charge for supplying one.
- Pricing per tape depends on the total quantity and duration of footage converted.
Examples:
- Converting 2 tapes under 90 minutes each costs $36.00 per tape, totaling $72.00 Including GST.
- Converting 2 tapes over 90 minutes up to 3 hours each will cost $56.00 per tape, totaling $112.00 Including GST.
- Converting 20 tapes under 90 minutes each costs $28.00 per tape. With the current deal every 5th tape is free, only paying for 16 tapes will total $448.00 Including GST.
- Pricing adjusts based on footage duration. For tapes exceeding 90 minutes:
- Up to 3 hours: Additional $20.00 per tape.
- Up to 4.5 hours: Additional $40.00 per tape, and so forth.
Example Breakdown:
Say if you have an assorted range video tape tape formats like x15 mini DV tapes, x15 video 8mm tapes and x10 VHS tapes. Total of 40 video tapes the price breakdown will look like this.
- 15 mini DV tapes (under 90 minutes) cost $25.00 per tape. With the current deal every 5th tape is free, only paying for 12 tapes total $300.00 Including GST.
- 15 video 8mm tapes (under 90 minutes) cost $25.00 per tape. With the current deal every 5th tape is free, only paying for 12 tapes total $300.00 Including GST.
- 10 VHS tapes (over 90 minutes up to 3 hours) cost $25.00 each, plus $20.00 for exceeding 90 minutes. Total $45.00 per tape. With the current deal every 5th tape is free, only paying for 8 tapes total $360.00 Including GST.
Final Total: $960.00 Inc. GST, including DVD copies, transferred to your supplied portable hard drive or 256GB USB stick.

Video tapes will be uploaded to cloud storage for 90 days. It will cost an additional $70.00 per 90 days to keep the files on our cloud storage.
Pricing per tape is determined on the amount of tapes we convert. For example Video tape converted and uploaded to cloud for access with a link.
If we convert 2 video tapes that do not exceed 60 minutes it will cost $48.00 per tape totaling $96.00 Including GST.
If we convert 21 video tapes that do not exceed 60 minutes it will cost $40.00 per tape totaling $800.00 Including GST.
Also pricing is determined on the duration of footage we convert. We charge per tape up to 90 minutes, if the footage on the video tape exceeds 90 minutes, there is an additional charge for ever 90 minutes the footage runs over. For example Video tape converted and uploaded to cloud for access with a link.
If the footage on one video tape runs up to 60 minutes it will cost $48.00
If the footage on that video tape goes over 60 minutes up to 2 hours it will cost an additional $35.00 totaling $83.00 Including GST.
If the footage on that video tape goes over 2 hours up to 3 hours it will cost an additional $35.00 totaling $118.00 and so on.
Video Tape Repairs or Cleaning of Mold/Mildew/Fungus build up
We do not charge to have your video tapes checked to see if they are moldy or broken/damaged.
Video tape cleaning from mold/mildew/fungus build up can cost $25.00 to $70.00 per video tape.
Video tape repairs can cost $25.00 to $120.00 per video tape.
Video tape cleaning and repairs can cost $50.00 up to $170.00 per video tape.
Customers are notified before a tape is repaired or cleaned and if it is going to cost more than $50.00.

If the film reels are not numbered in order we will place a label on the reel. Numbering them from 1 to 13 with each MP4 file numbered from 1 to 13 in the order the films where copied onto a USB stick.
